Juanita is a native of West Virginia and began her journey with Genesis HealthCare in 2010 as the Environmental Services Director for Hilltop Center in WV. She continued her career growth as she then served as Hilltops Guest Services Director which led her into their Admissions Director position. Shortly thereafter she was honored with the opportunity of an Administrator in Training position. Juanita soon completed this training and obtained licensing as a Nursing Home Administrator. She began working at Westwood the middle of 2019. Juanita has always devoted her time to meeting the needs of her residents and her staff. Juanita is dedicated to improving the patients quality of care and daily living. She takes pride in all the staff at Westwood as they all work together to meet the residents daily needs.
Dr. Karthik RamakrishnanMedical Director
Dr. Karthik Ramakrishnan came highly recommended to Westwood Center in February 2020. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine with 20 years of experience. In addition to having his own practice (Infinity Medical Management) in Bluefield Virginia he is also the founder of PeachTree Inpatient Consulting, a hospitalist group of physicians that has been serving five hospitals since 2009. He was joined in providing care to the residents of Westwood Center by J. Lindsey Miller, FNP-C in August of 2020. Lindsey is an exemplary Nurse Practitioner with an extensive background of experience in multiple areas of nursing including but not limited to working in Home Health, Intensive Care, Med Surge and outpatient clinical setting. With both of their vast experience with inpatient and outpatient medicine, together, Dr Ramakrishnan and J. Lindsey Miller, FNP-C will deliver superior care to our residents at Westwood.
J. Lindsey Miller, FNP-CNurse Practitioner
Lindsey is an exemplary Nurse Practitioner with an extensive background of experience in multiple areas of nursing including but not limited to working in Home Health, Intensive Care, Med Surge and outpatient clinical setting. Tamara Miller, RN, BSNDirector of Nursing
Tamara joined Westwood Center in 2020 as our Director of Nursing. Tami brings with her over 24 years of nursing experience including CCU, ICU, ER, Post-Op recovery, Hospice, and eight years in long term care, including four years of director of nursing experience. She is a graduate from Mountain State University with her Bachelor's degree in Nursing and was an LPN prior to that. Tami is a native of Oak Hill WV and resides there with her husband of 29 years. She has two children and one beautiful granddaughter. Tami's personal core values and beliefs as an individual are kindness, honesty, persistence, lifelong learning, security, family, and success in achieving her goals. She uses those values and beliefs to make her own personal decisions and to live her everyday life. Tami believes that the core of nursing is caring, knowledge, and integrity. Tami's mission is to be a competent and lifelong learning nurse while providing empathetic and compassionate care; maintaining honesty and integrity; and being respectful of all cultures and individual choices.
Crystal DavisRehabilitation Program Manager
Crystal was born and raised in Princeton, WV. She attended Concord University where she graduated with her BS in Biology. She then attended Jefferson College of Health Sciences in Roanoke, VA where she obtained her Physical Therapist Assistant Degree. She began working at Westwood Center in Bluefield VA in 2012 as a PTA, where she fell in love with the geriatric population and helping them to achieve their rehab goals. In 2016, she completed her Master’s degree in Health Promotion from Concord University. In 2020, Crystal stepped into the role of Director of Rehab where she looks forward to continuing to provide the highest level of patient care with an excellent therapy team!
Wonderful place and great therapy
I have been here 3 times now and never regret coming. It is a wonderful place to come and get therapy. Everyone is always so nice and kind and I never have to wait very long for someone to come and help me. I would recommend this place to everyone.
