Our staff is dedicated to serving the medical and rehabilitation needs of individuals recovering from illness or injury. Peter Mongillo
AdministratorPeter Mongillo has been working in the sub-acute and long-term care setting for 20 years. He began his career in the food service arena and was the Food Service Director for 12 years at the Willows prior to earning his Administrators license through the UCONN School of Business Program.
After serving as the Assistant Administrator at the Arden House in Hamden, CT for three years, he returned in 2012 to serve as the Administrator of the Willows.

Dr. Channa Perera
Medical DirectorDr. Perera has been the Medical Director at The Willows since 2006. He is an Internal Medicine Specialist in West Haven, CT and is affiliated with Yale New Haven Hospital-Saint Raphael Campus, where he completed his residency. Dr. Perera earned his medical degree from St. George's University and has a strong passion for geriatric medicine.

Tracy Kane
Director of NursingTracy started at The Willows in November 2016 as the unit manager on the Transitional Care Unit. She was promoted to Infection Control Nurse in 2018 and served as acting Director of Nursing during the COVID-19 pandemic. She graduated from Naugatuck Valley Community College and has worked in healthcare for many years.

Alyssa Ullrich
Admissions DirectorAlyssa has been a member of the Genesis family since 2016 and has served as an Admissions Coordinator in several buildings throughout Connecticut. Alyssa earned her Bachelors of Science Degree in Public Health with a Minor in Health Promotion from Southern Connecticut State University in 2010. She has been working in the nursing home business since 2007 and has shown compassion and kindness in every aspect of her work.

Michelle Ciccarelli
Director of RehabilitationMichelle received her degree in Occupational Therapy from Quinnipiac University. She has worked in the sub-acute and long term care setting for over 18 years, serving as a Director of Rehabilitation for over 10 years. Michelle’s passion is for the geriatric population and she strives to help each patient achieve their individual goals through quality rehabilitation programs.
Jessica Lombardi, LMSW
Director of Social ServicesJessica has been part of The Willows team for over 25 years. She earned her bachelor's degree in Social Work from Southern Connecticut State University. Jessica also earned her Master's Degree from the Advanced Standing Program at Fordam Univeristy. She is a certified Alzheimer's specialist and has a strong background in end of life and hospice care support.
