COVID-19 Second Booster Dose
The CDC recently released a recommendation for a second COVID-19 booster dose for certain persons. Specifically, a second mRNA booster dose could benefit people ages 50 years and older, as they are at increased risk for severe COVID-19. People ages 50 years and older may choose to receive a second booster dose, if it has been at least 4 months after the first booster. We recommend that appropriate residents receive their second booster dose. The COVID-19 vaccines (Pfizer or Moderna) are available. Please let your physician or nurse know right away if you or your loved one would like to receive the second booster.

Dr. Thomas Wulf
Medical DirectorDr. Wulf is board certified in family medicine, board eligible emergency medicine. Graduated from Central America health science university Med school 2003 and family medicine residency at university of New Mexico in 2006. Cherrelle Holmes, RN, BSN
Center Nurse ExecutiveCherrelle has spent the majority of her life in Clovis, New Mexico and is very dedicated, empathetic, and compassionate when providing care. Which led to completing the RN program at CCC in 2015, and graduating from Chamberlain University with a BSN in 2018. She has 5 years of nursing experience in the LTC, but has been in healthcare for the past 15 years. Her greatest achievement is being a role model for her two daughters, ages 15 and 13. Cherrelle plans to continue gaining experience with Genesis while also obtaining a Master’s Degree of Nursing.

Director of RehabilitationLaura was born and raised in Clovis, NM. She is married with two daughters and a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. Laura has worked in the SNF setting for 7 years, and has been the DOR at St. Anthony’s for almost a year.
