Tracey Pueblo
Director of NursingTracey is originally from Salt Lake City, Utah. She moved to the East Coast after graduating High school to go to College and obtained her Computer Networking Certification. She then began working in the Telecommunications Networking field for 15 years in the busy setting of downtown Boston. At which time she decided on a much needed life change with some heartfelt meaning and finished my Bachelors of Science in Nursing.
Tracey began her nursing career with Genesis in 2015 as a skilled unit floor nurse. Those skills set her up for success as she continued her path going into the acute/ trauma setting in the operating room and remaining on with Genesis to hone in those skills. Once she tackled that part of her career Tracey then took on another role with Genesis as a Skilled Unit Manager, once again advancing her skill set. Tracey later moved on to a Director of Nursing role along with working in the Operating room when she moved to Maine. She is happy to say she is finally back home with Genesis, a company she treasures and respects for all she has become in her nursing career and as a leader.
Tracey’s professionalism, commitment to patient care, leadership, and passion for healthcare will undoubtedly ensure successful outcomes for years to come.

I am so thankful
Dear Joyce,
Dad's visit with his newest great grandchild was very successful. Dad always did love wee babes....a man far ahead of his time. While I don't think he understood the exact connection, he loved touching, looking at, and cooing at our sweet little William. And now, one day, I can share with Will the pictures of him with his wonderful great grandpa, and know that they were together once. I am so thankful that dad is in a place that also cares for the families...this meant so very much to me. And please pass on my gratitude to anyone who helped to make this happen.

Providing the best care possible
At Sedgewood my experience has been so different. Instantly I have been surrounded by likeminded professionals with a clear focus--providing the best care possible for one of the people I cherish the most. I cannot tell you the depth of relief I feel. I am no longer alone doing all of the work, but instead feel like I am a respected team member--of a team who cares about mom, about me and about each other. What a gift you all have been. Thank you from the depth of my heart. ~

Benefiting both staff and residents.
I visit Sedgewood Commons almost every day and have had ample opportunity to observe the interactions between the residents and caregivers. The caregivers at Sedgewood put a lot of effort into understanding the many idiosyncrasies of each resident and strive to give each one of them as much independence as can be safely allowed. All this is accomplished while striving to balance attentive care with a sense of humor, which benefits both staff and residents.

Kathleen R.
I can't even begin to tell you how thankful I was to receive reassurance that my mother was going to be okay. As a family, we try to understand the complications of advanced dementia and deal with the effects as best we can. But honestly, it's overwhelming at times.
The choices that are made at Sedgewood have lasting effects well outside the walls of the facility! It is in this reality, and the continued positive examples set by staff members, that my family finds comfort and peace of mind in knowing our mother is being well cared for.
Thank You! - Kathleen R.
