Excellent job!
"I was treated with respect when staff talked to me; it was like we were old friends. Therapy got me standing longer then I have in a long time and the baked chicken was the best." - RC
"Excellent job from the staff." - CR
Therapy team was great!
The facility is very quiet and clean. Care is very good. GNAs are very nice. Therapy team was great. I also enjoyed the food. There were many choices every day. The activity group was also very good at keeping me busy on the down time. I would highly recommend rehab there.

5 Stars!
My elderly father has been in Genesis rehab for several weeks, and we have decided to transition him to their long term care. Our Dad has several health issues, as well as dementia. And to further complicate matters...he is mobile! He is not an easy patient, and can be difficult, even for something as simple as taking his blood pressure. Unfortunately for the staff, he needs far more than simple care. Our family has been at the facility every day and I am happy to report the care he has received has been excellent. Not only has the care been excellent, the staff has been patient and has had his best interest in mind!! They deserve every bit of the 5 star review I am giving them. We were hesitant to use Genesis, due to the low rating they have received on the google site. But with their link to PRMC, and our tour of the facility, we decided to give it try and I am so glad we did.

Above expectations
Our experience with Salisbury Genesis was far above what I was expecting. I am amazed by the care that is given to my step dad as well as the other residents. There was always someone available to answer my questions. Thank you for all you have done.

Friendly, helpful and efficient
My mother was admitted to Salisbury Nursing & Rehab this past week. From the excellent advice we received from the Admissions office to the financial office everyone has been so friendly, helpful and efficient. My mother was admitted to a very pleasant and sun filled room. We added some items from her home to make it feel more like home. The nursing staff has been amazing. No matter how busy they are they find the time to help. The assistant nursing staff also has gone above and beyond from bathing, changing her to just taking a minute to check on her. Thank you all for your continued care.

Victory is Theirs!
The Challenge: Ms. Thomas came to Salisbury Rehab & Nursing in December 2021 after having been in the hospital since October due to COVID complications. She needed oxygen and was initially on 10 L of O2 and had poor activity tolerance. Ms. Thomas was max assist for all ADL's on evaluation and could only sit up on side of bed due to O2 levels dropping into the 80's.
The Outcome: During her 3 month stay at Salisbury Rehab & Nursing she worked hard to regain her strength and independence with the help of the Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapists. Ms. Thomas said “She wouldn’t be going home if it wasn’t for the therapy.” At discharge, Ms. Thomas could do all self care, Modified Independence and transfer independently and ambulate using a RW 50ft and able to ascend and descend steps to get into her house.
