Facility admitted a woman in her 60's who suffered a stroke. Upon admission she was unresponsive to stimuli and she had a trach and a feeding tube. Two months later after extensive rehab and a lot of love support from her family and staff - the trach has been removed and she is eating. She is very responsive and attempting to verbalize with staff and family. She is well on her way to recovery and will continue with more aggressive therapy at Health South. What a success story!
