Danielle Barley RN, MSN (she/her/hers)
Director of NursingDanielle joined Oak Grove on September 6, 2022 as the Director of Nursing. Danielle shared that she was searching for the right fit for her as a nurse leader and is excited to join the team. “This is my backyard. My community. I have been looking for the right fit for me. The leadership and staff here made me feel at home.” When asked why she enjoys working in long term care, Danielle stated:
Danielle received her ADN (Associates Degree in Nursing) from the University of Maine in Augusta in 2003 and a MSN (Masters Degree in Nursing) from Walden University in 2015 specializing in nursing leadership and management. As a lifelong learner, she is enrolled at Walden University in the Nursing PhD program focusing on population health and public policy. Danielle has experience as a nurse leader in long term care, corrections, and quality and risk management. Most recently, she was a behavioral health nurse care manager. As a staff nurse, she has worked in every hospital department and as a clinical supervisor.
When Danielle is not working or writing a paper, she enjoys spending time with her partner and their blended family which includes six children, two dogs, and two cats. Tamara Paul
Admissions and Marketing DirectorTamara has worked in healthcare for the past 30 years, starting at Sandy River as a CNA/M, a CRMA and the Recreational Director. After a short break from Genesis, she went to Marshwood as a Non-Clinical Nurse Manager and interim Admissions Director. Tamara then joined the Oak Grove Team in August of 2022, as the Admissions and Marketing Director.
Tamara is excited about Re-Launching the We Honor Veterans Program at Oak Grove as well as the Partner Program and heading up the Customer Excellence Committee at the center. Her goal is to make the transition from Hospital to Skilled Rehab to Home as smooth and easy as possible; and the experience of staying with us as enjoyable as can be.
In Tamara’s spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband, their 5 children’s families, 3 grandbabies and 3 dogs. Her special interests include cooking, doing crafts, curling up with a good book and enjoying life!
My Mom did several rehab stints at Oak Grove over the years and spent the last year of her life there as a resident. The staff took wonderful care of her and were patient with her throughout each of her stays! They went out of their way during the Covid lockdown to provide ways for us to be in touch with her and provided the nurturing we couldn't. She always raved about how great the food was!
