COVID Booster Shots
Hard to believe we are already half way through the summer! In preparation for the fall COVID and Flu season and with the new COVID BA.5 variant circulating, we are recommending all nursing home and assisted living residents receive their COVID booster and Flu shots. Centers will provide access to Flu shots in September and boosters are available now.

Andrew comes to Madison House with 10 years of long-term care management and leadership experience ranging from Admissions & Marketing to Accounts Receivables. His educational background includes a B.S. in Health Administration from Ohio University, followed by obtaining his Nursing Home Administrators License from University of Connecticut. When not at work, Andrew enjoys being outdoors, traveling, and playing drums. He is focused on providing the highest quality of patient centered care and everyday compassion to residents and families at Madison House.
Dr. ZumpanoMedical Director
Dr. James Zumpano has been the Medical Director at Madison House for 5 Years. He studied at St. George's University School of Medicine and completed his Internship and Residency at the Hospital of St. Raphael. He is affiliated with Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, CT.
Nancy LewisDirector of Admissions
Nancy has 20 years of experience in the senior industry working in skilled nursing, assisted/independent living communities and also as a senior living advisor. She enjoys building relationships and helping to educate families about the services and the type of care Madison House can offer. Since Nancy grew up in Alaska, she loves being outdoors and going hiking and fishing with her two Border Collies, Darwin and Winnie. Nancy is very adventurous and is willing to try anything at least once (Skydiving is on her bucket list). Kacey Busque DPT, DOR, CKTP, CMP, STMT-1, CIDN, LSVTDirector of Rehabilitation
Kacey received her undergraduate degree in Health Science and Psychology at the University of Hartford where she also played Division 1 soccer. She continued her education at the University of Hartford to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Throughout her professional career she continued her education and learning as she became certified in kinesiotaping (CKTP), Mulligan techniques (CMP), soft tissue manipulation (STMT-1), dry needling (CIDN), and LSVT BIG (to treat Parkinson’s Disease). When she is not working she loves spending time with her family including her husband Jordan, son Max and her four dogs Kemba, Libby, Ollie, and Penny. She also enjoys spending time at the beach, hanging out on her father-in-law’s boat and running. She has completed 5 marathons including the Boston marathon.
Lauren AgnelliRecreation Director & Memory Care Program Manager
Lauren moved to CT from NYC to earn a Master’s Degree in Education in 2004. But for her, the best seniors to work with were the older adults. Lauren has 8 years of therapeutic recreation experience, and she is a Certified Dementia Practitioner. Also a musician and writer, she loves to have fun, make music, throw parties, laugh, chat, read, write, do yoga, hike, and watch movies. She creates moments of joy for the residents with her fabulous rec team. Lauren lives in Chester with husband Matt, two adult stepdaughters, two dogs and two cats.

I visited my friend here while they stayed on the short term rehab unit. I was impressed with how clean and bright the facility was. The staff was helpful and pleasant. I would definitely keep this facility in mind for any future needs.
