Lofland Park Center is a 110-bed skilled nursing facility located in Seaford, DE offering ShortStay, Rehabilitation and LongTerm Care services. Tawnya Dennis, Ed.D, NHARegional Executive Director
Tawnya received her Doctorate of Education in Organizational Leadership from Wilmington University. Her Master’s degree is from Johns Hopkins University where she also worked on brain imagining research for five years. Tawnya has been working in long-term care since 1994 and obtained her Administrator’s license in 2007. Tawnya is very active in the local Alzheimer’s Association where she helped to organize a Sussex County walk in Rehoboth in 1997 and has chaired or co-chaired the walk for at least 10 years. She is committed to improving the quality of life for individuals living in long-term care.
Dr. Ronald LunaMedical Director
Dr. Ronald Luna joined the Lofland Park Center team in August 2015 and assumed the role of Medical Director on October 1, 2021. Dr. Luna joined Seaford Internal Medicine of Seaford Delaware in July 2015 and continues seeing patients in the local community. Dr. Luna received his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy graduating cum laude and his Doctor of Medicine graduating in the top 10% of his class from the University of Philippines. After completing an internship at Philippine General Hospital, Dr. Luna completed an internship and residency at Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital in New York. In addition to his work as a physician, he worked as a pharmacist in Canada, and a lecturer at the University of the Philippines Manila. In October 2020, Dr. Luna was recognized as Delaware Today Top Doctors.
Beverly Gray-Mears, RNDirector of Nursing
Beverly was born and raised in Seaford, Delaware. She graduated from Delaware Technical and Community College in 1985 and received her LPN. She continued her education and received her RN credentials in 1990. Beverly has been a CNA Instructor over the past four years and is also a CPR/First Aide Instructor. Beverly has worked for Genesis since 1998 and has been at Lofland Park Center since 2013. She enjoys spending time with her family and going to the beach.
Michele Bell, BSSenior Admissions Director
Michele has worked in the healthcare industry for over 25 years. Specializing in Business Development, Operations and Case Management. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management and an Associate’s Degree in Marketing and Management. During the course of her career she has been responsible for developing partner relationships within the Healthcare Community and clinical outcomes. She has actively participated in various collaborative partner initiatives related to improving patient outcomes, Palliative Care and Population Health within the health care continuum. Michele has also been active in fundraising and awareness campaigns for the Alzheimer's Association, Horizon of Hope Breast Cancer Event & the Nanticoke Hospital Prescription Assistance Program.
Tesha Horsey, COTADirector of Rehabilitation
Tesha received her Associates Degree as a Certified Occupational Assistant in 2004 from Delaware Technical and Community College. She has been at Lofland Park Center since 2004. She joined the Genesis Rehab Services team in 2008 and became the Director of Rehab in 2011. Tesha enjoys being part of the team.
