LANGDON PLACE OF KEENE RAISES NEARLY $6000 FOR THE ALZHEIMER’S ASSOCIATION WALK TO END ALZHEIMER’S®

Walk to End Alzheimer’s is Largest Fundraiser Dedicated to Alzheimer’s Care, Support and Research

[Keene, NH] – Langdon Place of Keene, located at 136A Arch Street in Keene, New Hampshire, announced today that it raised nearly $6,000 for the Alzheimer’s Association’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s®.  The Langdon Place of Keene community for seniors provides 73 assisted living apartments, a skilled rehabilitation unit, as well as a cozy, secure memory care community with 24 private studios offering specialized programming and activities.

Eight participants from Langdon Place of Keene joined the Alzheimer’s Association’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s® in the fight to end Alzheimer’s disease. Langdon Place of Keene raised the third most funds of any of the affiliated Genesis centers nationwide. In 2022, Genesis affiliates raised over $140,000 company-wide and has continued to add to their lifetime achievement level of $2,000,000+ for the Alzheimer’s Association’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s.

“I am continually inspired by the participants at Langdon Place of Keene for joining in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease at the Walk to End Alzheimer’s,” said Chief Operating Officer, Melissa Powell. “This year, Genesis also made a $25,000 donation so the Alzheimer’s Association will be able to provide much needed education, support services and care to families affected by this devastating disease, as well as fund critically-needed Alzheimer’s research.”
