Langdon Place of Dover is a continuum of care community featuring multiple models of care to meet the changing needs of patients and residents as they age under one roof.
Langdon Place of Dover offers three tiers of residential living (equivalent of independent living), assisted/senior living and memory care. Many residents start out in our residential living then can add services as care needs change and health issues arise. You can change levels of care in assisted/senior living as you age in place or go from residential living to assisted living, but you don’t need to change apartments. There are no buy-ins or large up-front fees here. You simply rent your apartment for a minimum of 60 days. After the 60 days, we require a 30 day move-out notice.
Our Residential Living Community offers large & small one and two bedroom apartments that include full kitchens. Additionally three meals per day are included in our packages but you are able to obtain a credit if you only prefer one or two meals per day. Our dining room serves gourmet chef-prepared food and our kitchen is able to accommodate the dietary needs of our residents. We have a full size heated indoor pool & spa, library, private dining room for family functions, full service beauty salon. Additionally we have laundry services available onsite for independent residents to launder their own clothes. All our residential residents are provided with emergency call pendants and have access to nursing care in times of emergency or illnesses. Residents also have access to occupational, physical and speech therapy services. We have a full slate of more than 150 monthly recreational and social activities for our residents. We are also pet friendly.
Our Assisted/Senior Living Community offers one and two bedroom apartments as well as smaller private suites and shared suites. We are also able to offer different levels of care to fit the individual care needs of each of our residents. We have nursing staff in the building 24hrs/7days a week and each resident is given an emergency call pendant as well. Additionally, we provide three gourmet chef-prepared meals daily, housekeeping and laundry services, daily activity and enrichment programs including up to 150 monthly recreational and social activities, local transportation, indoor heated pool & spa, library, private dining room for family functions, beauty salon and a therapy gym with occupational, physical and speech therapy services. Personal laundry service is available for an additional cost.
Our Memory Support Unit provides a safe and secure environment for those residents who have a diagnosis of dementia or early Alzheimer’s Disease. The staff in this 2- bed unit are specially trained in dementia care. We offer private and semi-private studio-style apartments. They also have a full slate of recreational activities that provide mental and physical stimulation targeted to dementia. Their care includes three gourmet chef-prepared meals, laundry service, and access to a full service beauty salon and a therapy gym with occupational, physical and speech therapy services. A geri-psychiatrist visits the unit to consult with patients.

Safe environment
We like the care here for my father. The staff is always caring. We like knowing that he is in a safe environment and happy. The menu is very good and he likes the nice variety. The activities are very good for him to stay active with the other residents. We would highly recommend this community for the good care and value for other families and their loved one.

Staff is attentive
I would recommend the Langdon Place of Dover because they are treating my mother well. The place is clean and the staff is attentive. I haven't seen anything major that they could improve on since my mother has moved in.

Caring, compassionate and professional
Langdon Place of Dover is a top-notch facility! The entire staff is caring, compassionate, and professional in helping my Mom with her Activities of Daily Living and full medical management, and provides a safe and secure environment.
They are above all expectations I had when I moved my Mom here 11 months ago, and they continue to impress me with such kindness and friendly overtures. At 92 years of age and living with moderate ALZ, my Mom is not inclined to partake of all the diverse activities available, but she is so appreciative of the lovely, clean apartment she resides in, and keeps telling me she is so thankful for her beautiful unit!

We love it!
My wife and I have lived here for 4 months, and we love it. The best thing is the staff, I never imagined being a at such a great place. The food is very good I would put it up against any fine dining restaurant, the baker does an unbelievable job. We visited places for 2 years before deciding on Langdon Place, and we picked the right place.

Very friendly
The staff at this community were very friendly to my loved one and I during our tour. They made sure to answer any questions we had for them and show us around the entire property. They had some great amenities available to the residents and everything was clean.

Variety of activities
The staff at this community is amazing and super friendly. My loved one is very happy at the community. The community also has a variety of activities to do. My loved one loves to sing with them. They also provide a good choice of food for my loved one. I would refer my friends and family to this community.

Extremely happy
The staff here are extremely helpful from the 1st time you enter. The tour was complete and all our questions were answered. I would tour the place and ask all questions before bringing Mom and/or Dad to see for themselves as the tour can be rather lengthy. Everything was explained to us in detail, including pricing and billing, in terms that we all could understand. Once we were ready to move my folks in, they allowed us access for several days before the actual move in date, allowing us to bring some things early and set up the apartment. Move in was made easy. My parents have been there for 4 weeks now, and are extremely happy that they made this move. They are quickly learning their way around and checking out all the activities. The staff is kind, polite, respectful, and extremely helpful. We all highly recommend this place.

Outstanding staff
Back in early 2017, on the advice of our doctor and support of our children, daughter and son in law, my wife and I started to look for an independent/assisted living home. We looked at several but Langdon Place of Dover got and kept our attention. Why? THE STAFF!! An apartment is an apartment, a room is a room, etc., but the staff at Langdon Place of Dover makes this place!! If you can’t smile and have a positive attitude at all times, then you won’t work here. Why? The folks that live here!! It’s all here, medical problems, along with age. The need for a slow pace of living while at the same time someone is watching out for your welfare. Try pacifying over 100 folks at Langdon Place of Dover 24-7. It’s being done. And each and everyone here at Langdon Place of Dover has a smile on their face.

Comfort
My mom moved to Langdon Place one and a half years ago. The process to get her moved and settled was great. Her room and common areas are clean and modern and she has developed relationships with residents and the staff members. Having her there has given her four children comfort that she is being cared for. She is now settled in and considers Langdon Place her home. Thank You!

Review from outside caregiver
Excellent staff in the Assisted Living that truly care about their residents well being. They're some of the kindest, caring people that we work with. The facility is clean, food is beautiful in the dining room and the apartments are spacious. The staffs' ability to communicate and advocate on behalf of their residents has provided their residents with additional services and support.

Caring, smiling staff
My family will always be grateful for the wonderful care you gave my mother for the past few months. From the beginning she said, "Everyone here is always running and they always have a smile on their face" which was a sincere smile that she appreciated. In her last days when she could do less and less for herself, she told me how your help was given in such a way that she felt cared for with her dignity intact. Thank you so much!
-B.N. (daughter of resident).
Couldn't be more pleased
My mother moved into Langdon place more than 16 years ago. The staff provided very competent and compassionate care to her during her time in their facility. When her health declined they facilitated hospice care so she could stay in her room with her cat and family till the end of her life at the age of eighty seven years. We could not be more pleased with the management and staff at Langdon Place. In fact, we had her memorial service there today so the staff could share in the service.
