Our staff is dedicated to serving the medical and rehabilitation needs of individuals recovering from an illness or injury. We accept Medicare, Medicaid and most private insurances. Vanessa Narmore, LNHA
AdministratorVanessa became a licensed Administrator in 2012 in the state of Georgia and now holds a license in Alabama since 2015. She received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of North Alabama. Vanessa has been employed in long term care since 1996 and came to Genesis Keller Landing in September 2015. She was excited for the opportunity to return to the North Alabama area.
Tammy Copous, RN
Director of NursingTammy came to Genesis Keller Landing in July 2015. She is no stranger to Genesis due to being a part-time RN Supervisor for Cypress Cove. Tammy has been employed as a nurse in long term care since 1993. She feels this is where she is meant to be, has a love for her residents and improving their quality of life in their last years.
Amber Black
Director of AdmissionsAmber is a native of Colbert County and has worked at Genesis Healthcare Keller Landing since September 2017 as the Human Resources and Staffing Coordinator. In June of 2019 she transitioned over to the Director of Admissions position here at the Keller Landing facility. Prior to working in the healthcare field in long term care, Amber graduated from the University of North Alabama in 2005 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in English/Language Arts and Education. Amber taught for many years in both junior high and high school classrooms here in the Shoals area. Amber is now using her background in education to help teach people in the community about Alzheimer’s and Dementia care for their family and loved ones. She is thrilled to be a member of the Keller Landing team of professionals who have a passion for the dignity and wellbeing of Senior Citizens here in her hometown.
James Davis
Director of RehabilitationJames has worked for Genesis Healthcare as a licensed physical therapist assistant for 10 years and has been the therapy manager at a sister Genesis facility here in the Shoals area since October 2013. He became the director of therapy at Keller Landing in 2017. James works with patients, residents and their families to improve their physical functioning through provision of Occupational, Speech and Physical Therapy services. He received his education and license as a physical therapy assistant in 2009 from Wallace State University. When asked about his job James stated, “As the Director of Therapy Services here at Keller Landing, I have the privilege of seeing our patient’s extraordinary outcomes first-hand.”
