Loren Ward
AdministratorLoren began her career with Genesis Healthcare in 2015. In 2017, she received her Nursing Home Administrator’s License and became the Center Executive Director at Hopkins Center that same year. Loren graduated from Western Kentucky University and is a Licensed Social Worker, as well as being a Certified Activity Director and Nurse Aide. Loren has dedicated her life to caring for others. Her mission is to provide high quality care with compassion.

Marla Staples
Director of NursingMarla brings in over 30+ years of healthcare experience. She has been with Genesis healthcare since 2009 and with Hopkins Center since 2018. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Western Kentucky University, as well as her Long Term Care Administrators License. Marla is dedicated to providing compassionate and person centered care to residents at Hopkins Center.

Edith Gregory
Admissions and Social Services DirectorEdith earned her degree in social and behavioral sciences in 2016 from WKU. She has been a part of long term care since 2018 and joined our team in 2020. Edith serves in a dual role as both our Admissions and Social Service Director. She is dedicated to serving incoming residents and their families during their time of transition into our rehab and skilled nursing facility.

Nichole Willis
Director of RehabilitationNichole has been a member of the Genesis Rehabilitation services team since 2017 and has served as the Director of rehab at Hopkins since 2020. She is a Bowling Green Native and a graduate from Western Kentucky University’s communication Disorders Program. Nichole has been a Speech Language pathologist for 20 years with a career focus in the long term care setting. She is proud to be a part of an excellent rehabilitation team who work together to provide compassionate and quality inpatient therapy services to our residents.
