Granite Ledges of Concord

10th Annual 5K Race - August 7, 2021

Granite Ledges of Concord is hosting the 10th Annual 5K Race to the Ledges on Saturday, August 7th at 9 AM.  This race starts and ends at Granite Ledges, it is part trail, part road course.  After having to host a virtual race in 2020 due to the pandemic, we are more excited than ever to be back in person in 2021!

Looking back on the last 10 years, we have a lot of great memories.  Our most favorite memory is having one of our residents, Mary N., 96 at the time of her last race crossed the finish line together with 4 generations of her family!  It was a great experience for Mary and her family, there wasn’t a dry eye at the finish line that morning!

Historically, we’ve held a post-race brunch buffet put on by Chef Chris Normandeau.  Chris’ homemade granola is famous around town and has been dubbed the best homemade granola in the area!  Unfortunately, for the health and safety of our residents, staff and guests we will not be offering a buffet this year.  But don’t worry, we’d never let you leave Granite Ledges hungry!  There will be post-race goodies, just not in the form of a buffet.

All of the proceeds from the 5K Race to the Ledges goes to the Aging Well Alliance Fund through Concord Hospital Trust.  This fund promotes healthy aging and funds programs for older adults in the hospital as well as the Greater Concord Community.  Since inception, the 5K Race to the Ledges has raised almost $28,000 for the Aging Well Alliance Fund.  We are hopeful that our 10th Annual Race will be our biggest yet and we need your help!

Registration is open!  Register online at  For any questions or more information, please call Deb Burns, Executive Director at Granite Ledges, 603-224-0777.

We look forward to seeing you on August 7, 2021.
