Renee Myers, RN
Director of NursingI was born in Baltimore Maryland and raised in the small town of Taneytown, Maryland. I have been a nurse for 16 years and started my career in long term care. I graduated from the Hanover Practical Nursing Program with my LPN and then received my RN from Harrisburg Area Community College. I will be graduating from Western Governors University with my BSN in June of 2022 and will start pursuing my master’s degree in September of 2022. My background includes direct care nursing, healthcare marketing and business development and nursing management. I have spent a majority of my nursing career in inpatient acute rehabilitation, with a certification as a rapid response nurse. I have a 15-year-old son who races dirt bikes so our weekends are spent at the track. I also raise chickens and run a small farm selling produce and other home goods.

Breanne Munday
Director of Marketing & AdmissionsBreanne is a graduate of Purdue University earning both her bachelors and masters in healthcare administration. She has been with Genesis Gettysburg Center since 2016. She began her career with Genesis as the Medicaid Specialist and in March 2021 she accepted the role as Marketing and Admissions Director. Breanne loves working with the patients and families to obtain quality healthcare.

Amy Proctor
Rehabilitation DirectorMy Grandma used to tell me that her Occupational Therapist changed her life for the better when I was a kid and that always stuck with me. I wanted to be that inspiration for other people and help them the way that therapist helped my Grandma. So off to college I went... I graduated from Mount Aloysius College in 1996 with my Associate degree in Occupational Therapy. Since then I have been working in Acute Care and Skilled Nursing Rehab Centers as a staff therapist or Director of Rehab for the last 26 years. I have always had a soft spot for the older adult population. It must run in the family because my twin daughters are in college now working towards their Masters Degrees in Occupational Therapy. I worked for Genesis Rehab in Gaithersburg, MD back in 2011, and then after moving to the Gettysburg area I was happy to start working for Genesis Rehab again at the Gettysburg Center in June of 2019.

W.R. is an 84 year old past patient who was admitted for rehabilitation after a total knee replacement. Upon admission, W.R. needed assistance with all aspects of ADL's, transfers, and ambulation. Upon discharge to home with his wife, he was completely independent with everything. Regarding his positive outcome, W.R. commented " This is a wonderful Skilled Nursing Facility. All the Nurses and Therapy staff are skilled and well trained to take care of the residents. They are most friendly and nothing seems to be to much trouble for them to do. Everything is kept clean, I give this facility an AAA+++ rating!"
