A source of positivity
My most valuable experience at Exeter Center is having the staff and patients be a source of positivity for me even when I wanted to give up. I was able to get out of my comfort zone and develop relationships with many residents here. Therapy learned to effectively work with me. Some days I needed to be left alone and other days I was pushed to work in therapy without feeling forced. Nursing was great at talking with me and helping me cope with my injuries and frustrations. The Administrator came to talk with me at times when I needed it the most. My goal is to volunteer at Exeter Center to give back the same treatment I received.
Going home strong
Exeter Center is a great place for rehabilitation. I was able to participate in activities and now I am going home strong.

Grateful for everything!
"I have been with Exeter Center for a while due to a severe injury I sustained. I have had a slow progression of healing and at times, it is very frustrating. With the help of Physical & Occupational Therapy, I have gone from 0 weight bearing to 100%, enabling me to get back on my feet. All of the staff have been very accommodating and willing to help me recover. The social interactions & activities have helped me make friends. Throughout this process, I have learned to be a more patient person and I am grateful for everything Exeter Center helped me achieve."
