Delicia Mark

Delicia Mark joined Genesis in May 2021. Delicia began her career in healthcare in 2006, where she has held many roles. Delicia has been a licensed administrator since 2014. One of her favorite healthcare quote is, “you chose this industry; the industry did not choose you. Therefore, let’s make the best out of every situation.”

Delicia earned her Bachelor of Administration degree from Pace University and a Master of Organizational Behavior from University of Phoenix. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and exploring the great outdoors. 

Saira Nisar, MD

Saira is a graduate of the Aga Khan University in Karachi, Pakistan and of University of Cambridge, Cambridge, United Kingdom. She completed her residency at the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania and her fellowship at Boston University in Massachusetts. Dr. Nisar is board certified in Internal and Geriatric Medicine.

Dr. Nisar is a dedicated and compassionate physician focused on delivering high-quality care utilizing evidence-based practice.  Clinical experiences include internal medicine, geriatrics, and acute medicine. Dr. Nisar has published case studies pertaining to ethylene glycol toxicity and pre-eclampsia in pregnant women.  She was the 2014 recipient of the Teacher of the Year award from Tufts Medical School. In addition to teaching, Dr. Nisar has held several physician leadership positions and is currently the Medical Director for three skilled nursing facilities.

In her free time Dr. Nisar enjoys spending time with her family, teaching, and traveling.

Jennifer Gorell

Jennifer has been back with Genesis HealthCare since June 2021.Prior she had a previously worked at Genesis for 15 years. She graduated from Castle College with an Associates’ Degree in Human Services. Jennifer is often the first person that people connect with before admitting to Courtyard Nursing Care Center. Jennifer takes pride in delivering top notch customer service and she is here to help make the transition to skilled nursing and rehab care as smooth as possible for both our residents and their families. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Jennifer is so glad to be back with the Genesis and looking forward to the many success working with Courtyard Nursing Care Center.

Kristopher Larson, OT, OTR

Kris has been with Genesis at Courtyard since 2019. He studied at Oakland University and Baker College of Flint, where he ultimately earned his Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. He has been a therapist for 2+ years. His passion is in hand therapy and functional neuromuscular electrical stimulation. He also has become a reliant member of our team for seating and positioning of residents. When Kris is not treating, he spends time with his 2 dogs (Gryffin and Cassius), cooking, hiking, running, and traveling.

Christine Doyle

Cris is a graduate of UMass Boston with a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts with a double major in Psychology and Sociology.  After graduation she began working at Courtyard Nursing Care Center as a Recreational Assistant, and with continual training she became the Director of Recreation.  Her main focus as Recreation Director is to be compassionate, to listen to residents’ preferences and to follow through with meeting their needs.  She endeavors to foster an active community for residents, family and staff.  Cris has incorporated the Culture Change Philosophy throughout the department and has even created opportunities for residents to act as volunteers in programs, and create self-directed job that are meaningful and create value to our community. For the past 24 years, Cris has shown her dedication and supportive to her department, Courtyard Nursing Care Facility and to Genesis HealthCare.
