Rodica Anghel, LHNA
AdministratorI am a Romanian native, moved to US in 1998; went to nursing school in MA and have 19 years of experience working in Long term care. I started as a CNA, then to a nurse, case manager and reimbursement director. I then returned to school in 2016 and obtained a bachelor in healthcare administration and became a nursing home administrator. Caring for ill, vulnerable elderly patients came easy after witnessing the progressive decline and suffering of my father, diagnosed early in his life with Parkinson's disease. I was 13 years old when he first got diagnosed and watching him suffer had a strong impact on me growing up. Being a LTC administrator gives me the opportunity to make a difference and help others. I like to travel the world and discover different places, cultures and foods.

Very comforting
I wanted to thank you for your help and support during my mother and father's stay at Apple Valley. You were so kind to listen to me with care and compassion when I expressed my sorrow of having my loved one in a nursing home when visitation was restricted. It takes special people to go the extra mile to comfort someone during this time. The staff interactions with my mother and father was very comforting to me. I hope others know what wonderful employees are at Apple Valley
