Mark Pollock
Director of RehabilitationMark attended the University of Maine where he graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology and Physical Education. He then went on to Graduate from Hesser College with an Associate's Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant. Mark has also held a certification as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the NSCA. He has many years' experience in Orthopedic Physical Therapy as well as over 6 years' experience in geriatrics. Mark leads a very strong and highly qualified Rehab Department here at Windward Gardens which offers Physical, Occupational and Speech therapy services. When Mark is not helping patients get back on their feet he enjoys spending time in beautiful Midcoast Maine with his wife, three children and dog.

Chef Ivan S. Lopez
Dietary Account Manager, HCSGChef Lopez joined our team in 2020 bringing with him a wealth of culinary education and experience. Chef Ivan has his BA in Culinary Arts from the Culinary Institute of America and a Master’s Degree in Science from the University of Evansville. Some of Chef Ivan’s accolades include serving our country in the United States Marine Cops, apprenticing under 2 Michelin Star Recipient Michelle Burnstien, competed on chopped Chef All Stars, was the private chef apprentice to Dewayne Wade and was the banquet & wedding chef for the Samoset Resort in Rockland Maine among many other achievements. Chef Lopez helps create food so good that our residents can taste the art that goes into making the meal. The joy in seeing the residents enjoy a familiar meal that helps them bring back past memories is something Chef Ivan cherishes. “Good food is created with a humble heart and a great knowledge of food”, which is being taught to the dietary staff by Chef Ivan. When Chef Lopez isn’t creating a new dining experience for our residents he enjoys playing Jurassic world with his kids, reading, watching movies, and creating new food combinations.

Gabrielle Peabody
AdministratorGabrielle joined Genesis Healthcare in 2019 after graduating from Husson University in Bangor, ME with a Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration and Public Health. She has held multiple roles within the company which include Scheduling/Payroll Manager, HR Manager, and Nursing Home Administrator-in-Training. Her care and compassion inspires her to make a difference in the population we serve. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her dog, Keegan

Danielle DiMartino
Director of Admissions and MarketingDanielle graduated from nursing school in 2004. She has held multiple roles in nursing before joining Genesis in 2023 as the Director of Admissions and Marketing. Danielle moved to Maine from Boston in 2014 and enjoys yoga and spending time outdoors. Her goal is to assist with making every admission to Windward Gardens a positive experience and treat every resident with kindness and compassion.

Sue Weber
Director of Social ServicesSue attended Wilkes College in Wilkes-Barre, PA, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Sue has been with Windward Gardens since 2019. She greatly enjoys her role providing social work services to the residents and families. She has extensive experience working in all realms of helping people having worked with troubled teens, children/youth and families, adults with Intellectual Disabilities, the homeless and adults with mental health disability. Sue is proud to have been Windward Gardens’ Compassionate Caregiver of the Year for 2021.
Sue is originally from New Jersey and has been in Maine since 1995. She enjoys spending time with family and friends doing many activities and is a pet foster for Pope Humane Society. She was a “foster fail” adopting her foster cat, Magic, in 2022! She is proud to a part of the Windward Gardens Team.
