The PT and OT were outstanding. They listened to my concern and questions and acted quickly and efficiently to take care of my concern. The nursing staff, especially Julie, Natalie, Britney, Phyllis were attentive and helpful.

If you have to be in a nursing home, this is the one I would recommend. The care givers are caring and very hard working. This was a very good nursing home. The workers were kind to my mother and she considered some of them her friends. Thank you.

Nursing overall was good. Nurse Ronke was my favorite nurse.

Some of nurses was very good and some of the CNAs was very good. It was a comfortable stay.

Everybody does things different. Was not used to male aide.

Due to staffing obstacles were many new faces every week but for the most part I received the care I needed on all the shifts.

Waugh Chapel was very clean including my room. The people were always nice especially the PT and OT.

Some nurses listened and addressed concerns. Had to pay attention as medications were not always right. Some aides very careful and helpful. Other aides act like they did not care. PT personnel very good for confined space in room. What did you like least about your stay? What could we improve?
Being confined to room because of Covid. Had to pay attention as medications were not always right. Sometimes suppose to get 2 pills of certain medication and they would only bring one. Also sometimes, given medication to take which were only for as needed and sent them back with nurse.

Did not enjoy being confined to my room all of my time not your fault, I know. But I sometimes felt like I was in jail. Blame it on COVID 19 otherwise everything was fine. William Humphrey

Liked the movies and magazines. Liked one nurse who was on top of things and came to greet me when I got there. I'm not sure about her name - it may have been Florene.

The OT and PT practitioners were excellent, not only their expertise but advocacy as well. They were personable as well as professional. Daily work with them was why I attended impatient rehab. The social director was very good offering mental engagement as well as social, conducting communal activities within COVID-19 guidelines.

The kitchen staff often forgot needed items, napkins, knives, desserts, etc.

Having a private room most of the stay. The gym was great - though was closed due to COVID19 during most of the stay. The facility is nice. Arial, Jessica and Emily were amazing.

Some nurses and aides were excellent. Actually all but 2 were excellent. Considering the virus the social activities were great. Bingo etc. The ladies at the front desk were fantastic! The physical therapy team was fantastic.

My wife, Dr. Susan MacDonald is now a resident of Future Choice Chesapeake in Arnold and still is not capable pf filling out this survey. So, I am filling it out on her behalf, if that is okay with you. I had hoped to have her returned to you after her most recent stay at Hopkins Hospital, but there were no beds available. Perhaps the thing I liked most was and is the Family meetings via Zoom. They certainly are extremely helpful at this time of Covid-19 quarantine. Thank you so very much for all your assistance!!! I would like to acknowledge Nurse (3 pm-11 pm) the CNA and the Physical Therapist. They went beyond and please thank them. Facility was clean however I left early b/c to Corona virus.

The best part of my stay was the staff. There has not been in my experience, a finer nurse than the one assigned to me on days, as well as the night nurse. The GNA showed me a huge amount of compassion during the time of my husband's injury and hospitalization. Her assistance was very valuable. My whole family learned to love her for all the help. As the first person guests encounter, you could not have a better employee.What did you like least about your stay? What could we improve?
Only 2 improvements: food should not have to be microwaved to be served hot and a P.T schedule would be so helpful in planning our day. I did not find out if or when I was having P.T and O.T until the morning of therapy.

The Waugh Chapel Center had wonderful management and staff. The nurse and aids took great care of me and the therapists gave me back my independence.  I cannot say enough about the excellent gym and therapy program!  The medical staff was attentive to my situation, and the scheduler coordinated medical appointments.  My evaluation and release was well managed and communicated. I have nothing but fond memories of my stay, and the members of the staff! Regards to all.

The short term rooms are beautiful, but drapes and curtains need to be removed because they are dust collectors.

My nurses were friendly and responsive to my needs. The activity director made my stay more enjoyable. I liked that we were encouraged to eat in with others in the cafe rather than alone in our room. The facility was clean and open with lots of light. The physical therapy was very good and helpful.

The food needs a lot of improvement. Everything else was OK.

I had at first, my meals in the dining room, then I decided to have my meals in my room, which was very pleasant. But the meal was not hot at most of the time. Maybe the heating unit you used was not hot of insulant nothing worse than a cool meal. That is my only complaint.

Joanne, aide was very important to my care. What a difference when she was not there. Nurse K was working when I was admitted. Must have been a contract nurse, never saw her again. She was by far the best nurse.

My grandmother had broken hips. She was there for Recovery after surgery. She has dementia. I had to answer and speak for her. Me and family members were very pleased with the care and rehab.What did you like least about your stay? What could we improve?
The meals at time were bland however, but its a rehab and they have salt and carb restrictions! Overall meals were satisfactory! Grandmother always was asking for salt.

The Physical Therapists were outstanding. The night staff, Jai Taylor, was outstanding, concerned and quick to answer the buzzer.

I liked going to therapy. All of the people that helped me were very kind!!  The C.N.A. was very kind to me. She bathed and dressed me for the day.

Everything was perfect. My Mom was impressed. * When first arriving no sign for facilities was visible more sign closer to street.

1. Each room should have a recliner. Did not like sitting in a wheelchair all day. 2. No meat with breakfast.

The bed and the food, food was cold and rarely what I ordered and very small portions. Lack of help getting showers and personnel did not want to charge sheets!! The bed was impossible to sleep on! Coffee always cold.

The process for food selection does need improvement. Patient rarely received what was ordered and hot dishes were served cold.
