Thanks and appreciation!
Hello! I just wanted to write to tell you how much my mother, loves the nurse at 1 east. My mother had grown very fond of another nurse, and when she found out the nurse was leaving, my mother was very sad. But the new nurse came along and my mother seems to like her even more! I talk with my mother on the phone daily and not a day goes by without her saying how she is so great. My mother gets severe arthritis pain in both her hand and knee and she says the nurse always seems to know how to ease the pain. I have never had the pleasure of meeting the new nurse because I have been unable to visit indoors since she started caring for my mother. So please pass along my thanks and appreciation to her.
- Sincerely, Charles H.
Thank you for taking care of our Mother during her final illness.
- With appreciation, A. W. and D. W.

What you do matter a lot more than you'll ever know!!

Thankful for technology during virus outbreak
COVID-19 proposed challenging times for all that were definitely unexpected and unknown. It shut everything down rather quickly, but technology proved to be vital and amazing for this situation. I had the opportunity to help keep families in contact with their loved ones via zoom so that they could have some comfort in knowing their loved one was safe and cared for. Although some zoom calls weren't always upbeat they were necessary. Being in healthcare their is always a high risk of exposure for diseases or infections, but being able to be tested weekly puts your mind at ease especially when you have loved ones at home or you yourself is compromised. Every day we check-in, have our temperature taken and get our PPE to ensure everyone is protected. I am grateful for the protocols that were implemented to protect our residents and staff.
