Care Partners COVID-19 Testing Frequency

As the pandemic continues, we are requiring that Care Partners receive frequent COVID-19 testing. Care Partners include staff members, consultants, contractors, volunteers, and caregivers who provide care and services to residents on behalf of the facility, and students in the facility’s nurse aide training programs or from affiliated academic institutions.  Examples include, but are not limited to, hospice care staff, phlebotomists, mobile x-ray tech's, non-emergency medical transportation staff, and wound care consultants.

There are four possible levels of testing: Monthly, Every 2 - Weeks, Weekly or Twice Weekly or Every 3-7 Days.

The frequency of testing is based on analytic tools we developed to track the risk of COVID transmission in each local community.  We have tailored center-specific precautions and protocols to adapt to these community risk levels. All center web pages will be updated daily by 6:00am with the current testing frequency required.  Please refer to the website daily for your latest testing requirement.
