Karisa “Risa” Berry
Center Executive DirectorRisa has been working in long-term care facilities since 2004. She has an Associate’s Degree in Nursing, a Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Wellness, and a Master’s Degree in Health Administration with an emphasis in Gerontology. Risa is passionate about improving the lives that our Center touches whether those be the lives of the residents, families, and friends that we serve or the lives of the staff who dedicate themselves to the service of others. Risa will offer you her personal promise to care for each and every individual that finds themselves within the walls of our second home, the San Juan Center.
Loretta Jensen, RN
Center Nurse ExecutiveLoretta has been at San Juan Center since February 2011. She has been a nurse for 20 years and 17 of those in long-term care. Her ready smile is a result of her enjoyment and delight of caring for the residents. She has a passion for wound care and literally jumps for joy when a patient is healed, and enjoys the opportunity to teach others.
Daisy Deswood
Director of AdmissionsDaisy has been employed at San Juan Center for the past 18 years. She has worn many hats during her career from C.N.A., Medical Records to Activity Director. She has been in the position of Admissions Director for 4 years. She is from Two Gray Hills, NM. She has three amazing sons, two sweet daughter-in-law's and four wonderful grandsons.
Justin Booker
Director of RehabilitationJustin received his degree from San Juan College here in Farmington, NM and has been working for the San Juan Center as a “COTA” since 2016. Justin expresses passion for working with the geriatric population which brings him tremendous joy. Justin’s ultimate goal is for the San Juan Center rehabilitation therapy team to provide the highest quality treatment and yield the best possible outcomes for every patient that is encountered. Justin promises services from a qualified, highly intelligent, and dedicated team of therapists who all share a common passion of helping others reach a higher level of independence and a better quality of life.
