Nurse PractitionerThe Rehabilitation Center of Albuquerque, a Genesis facility, is committed to patient and staff safety by employing an Infection Control specialist who follows Federal and State guidelines regarding the clinical screening process for COVID-19. We are one of the first centers in the state to employ point of care testing, which yields fast, accurate results, eliminating possible exposure risks associated with traditional testing and long wait times.
Our dedicated staff are trained in the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment, and are proactive in sanitizing patient and staff areas daily. The disinfectant used has been approved by the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency), and proven effective against the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
As we navigate these difficult times together, you can rest assured that your loved one will receive the best care possible while implementing evidence based practices into our everyday lives.

A wonderful experience
I whole heartedly enjoyed my stay here at your rehab center. Such a wonderful experience. All staff members that took care of me were very professional in their role as caretakers. I had my ups and downs, depression, etc. I was always consoled with love and compassion. Staff compliments to all. They treated me with TLC.

Feel so much stronger
I came in weak and after being here for the past two weeks I feel so much stronger, The staff, physical therapist and occupational therapist, nurse, aids, and beautician, Paula Vigil, were excellent. Best haircut by Paula Vigil. Excellent review for administration and service received. Thank you JoAnn Ulibarri, for welcoming me and ensuring a safe and healthy recovery.

Caring and helpful
My mother's experience with The Rehabilitation Center of Albuquerque has been positive. All of the personnel have been caring and helpful, the building and grounds are well maintained and look good. The dining room is spacious with a great view of the beautiful landscaping and the food was good. The therapists are knowledgeable and easy to work with. They will be our first choice if she needs it in the future.
