Coronavirus UpdateView All Updates
Dear Family and Friends,
We understand the huge toll that separation has taken on our residents and families. We are excited to announce that our Genesis-affiliated Centers will now allow indoor visitation at all times and for all residents (regardless of vaccination status), with the exception of the three scenarios listed below. CMS, the federal agency that regulates nursing centers, has updated its visitation guidance due to high resident vaccination rates and a drop in COVID-19 cases around the country. read more

Proud and honored
Proud and honored resident of the Quinnipiac Valley Rehab Center, in the town of Wally-World, CT. Hope to be here until the good Lord takes me. The recreation programming is great - I love the outdoor events!

Compassionate and helpful
My grandmother was a Resident at Quinnipiac Valley Center and as a whole she received wonderful care. The nurses and CNA's were all very caring, compassionate, patient, and helpful. She always had something to keep her occupied from physical therapy to being actively involved in recreational groups. It was also a plus that the building has a van that takes regular trips with Residents to go out to lunch, shopping, day trips, etc. I would certainly recommend this facility.

Peace of Mind
We wanted to thank the staff at Quinnipiac Valley Center for the wonderful care that you provided to my mother, Ethel McCurdy. Words can not express our gratitude for the kindness that was shown. From the nurses to the aides, the therapists, social workers and administration, you all helped to give us much needed peace of mind during a difficult time. There are too many staff members to thank them all individually but we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all that touched her life in someway. We wanted you to know that you all made a difference. Our Eternal Gratitude,
Keith and Roberta McCurdy
Best place around
Thank you for all you do and your staff. My mom is there and it’s the best place around. I live in West Haven but worth the travel to keep her in your facility. Thank you! Maureen Jennett (Susan G.'s daughter)

Good food and professional staff
The food and coffee is good, the staff is very friendly and professional. The young man Kyle goes over and beyond - so far so good. The most important thing is knowing where you are going and the staff has been fully informed and made me feel comfortable. Thank you for everything.
