Appreciation and Thanks
I would like to take this opportunity to write a note of appreciation and thanks to each and every nurse that helped with my road to recovery. The care and compassion from each of you has been remarkable. Whether it was when I first came in early January and could not even walk and bedridden, or now that I am becoming more mobile. The caring “love” for patients is felt every day, every shift, from beginning to end. Each one of you are knowledgeable in your field and have a personal touch that inspires a patient as myself to do the best they can each day. Processing change and healing requires courage and commitment which you all have taught me. I devote time each day thanking God for sending me to this facility. You have all taught me how to release self-doubt and be strong. I will carry this with me for the rest of my life.
- Diane, Short-Stay Patient
