Greatly benefitted from therapy
Tony transferred to Perring Parkway Center in 12/2018. He has benefitted greatly from Speech, Occupational and Physical therapy during his stay. Tony has transitioned nicely into a Long Term stay and continues his rehab participation.
Melvin transferred to Perring Parkway and was very weak and in pain. During his stay, he has participated in therapy and regained his strength. He can now be seen around the center participating in recreation events. He particularly enjoys those with special breakfasts. He's happy to be here for a Long Term stay.
Ms. Patricia arrived to our center in September, 2018. She was given an expectation of Long Term care, but after extensive rehab services, she regained enough strength to return home with family assistance in December, 2018.
Moving to Secured Memory Unit
Mr. Palmer has been receiving rehab and is doing well. His family is thrilled he's at Perring Parkway for a long stay and will be moving into our secured memory care unit soon, where safety is top priority.
Suzanne's sister selected Perring Parkway after a great tour and the proximity to her home. Ms. Suzanne worked hard with both occupational and physical therapy. Her goal was to return home with her son. She was able to do so successfully with renewed strength and a brighter outlook.
Zoom meetings and great care
I enjoy the zoom meetings with my husband. I can see him and it's like being with him. Also with zoom meetings he can see his daughter and granddaughter. I really appreciate everything the staff is doing for my husband. They shave him, cut & clean his nails, and give him daily snacks since I can't be there to do that for him. He always looks good and is happy when I talk to him. The staff on his unit is doing a great job.
