Tina Brewer
Assistant AdministratorTina started working at Mount Olive Center in 1994, while in nursing school. She soon discovered that her calling was more in the administrative field rather than hands-on clinical care. Tina has held many positions within the center (CNA, medical records assistant, receptionist, accounts payable and social services assistant). For the past 26 years, she was the Admissions Director and served as the Senior Admissions Director for five other affiliated centers. With great excitement, Tina was recently promoted to Assistant Administrator. Born, raised and living in close proximity to Mount Olive, Tina is always available to assist and comfort those in need and by being a resource for the community.

Jessica Gillen, PTA
Director of RehabilitationJessica has worked for the company for 23 years. She started her healthcare career while in high school by obtaining her CNA certification. While Jessica has worked in various settings, she found her calling within the long-term care setting. She graduated from Fayetteville Tech in 2010 and has been a Director of Rehab since 2012.

Ann L. Kirkpatrick, MSN, CRNP, AG-ACNP
Nurse PractitionerAnn started working for the Company in 2002 as a nurse’s aide and fell in love with caring for people and the population within. She went on to complete her nursing degree and worked as a medical- surgical critical care nurse in a Trauma 1 hospital for ten years. At the end of 2015, she completed her master’s degree and became certified as an adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner. After working for one year in Nephrology, she realized that we had always been her home so she joined Genesis Physician Services (GPS) in 2017. During her time with GPS, she was consistent at one center but assisted other centers when needed and worked on different process improvement committees to include in-center dialysis, and palliative care. Throughout the years, she has mentored many nurse aides, nurses, and nurse practitioner students as well as motivated/ supported all three of her sisters to go to nursing school. She has continued her education throughout the years and is completing her final Doctor of Nursing Degree in May of 2023. She recently moved from Pennsylvania to North Carolina in December 2021 and she is excited to join the team here at Mount Olive Center.

April Harrell
Admissions DirectorApril Harrell joined the team at Mount Olive Center (for the second time) in 2018. She was a previous employee at Mount Olive Center from 2005 thru 2007, as the Admissions Assistant. In 2007 she made the decision to leave to raise her children. In July 2018 April returned as the Scheduling Payroll Manager. In 2020 she moved into the HR Manager position where she served as a Campus Workforce Manager to other affiliated centers. April recently moved into the Admissions Director position. She is excited for her new role as part of the admissions team and looks forward to helping the community and surrounding areas.
Positive Outcomes
Patricia S. (patient since January 2020) was recently asked what she liked most about her stay. She replied: "I am thankful for being here and meeting good friends, especially my roommate. I fell and broke my femur and a shoulder. After a few surgeries, I came to Genesis. I've had a lot of prayers from staff, family and friends since I've been here. God has always been looking out for me and placed me here during a tough time in my life. I am thankful for being alive, my family, my friends and all of the progress I have made with the help of this staff!"
Orlando J. has resided at Mount Olive Center since July 2011. He says that "this is his home and we are his family." Orlando says that he is impressed with how staff has handled the "virus problem" and has not felt lonely or isolated in the least. To show his compassion and thankfulness, he decided to donate his entire stimulus check to three different charities, as an anonymous donor. Mr. Orlando J. stated that he wanted "to bless others just like I was blessed".
