Jonathan Hutchinson, NHA
Center Executive DirectorJonathan has been the Center Executive Director at Mesa Manor for a year. He received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration- Health Care Management from Western Governors University. Jonathan has been in health care for over 11 years starting as a Certified Nursing Assistant before gaining experience as Unit Coordinator, a Therapy Assistant and finally an Admissions Director prior to his current position. He has been part of the Genesis family for six years having previously worked at Missouri River in Great Falls, MT before relocating to Colorado. His favorite thing about the center is the family atmosphere you can sense when entering the building. Jonathan is most proud of the family and community engagement with the center. He states "prior to COVID the building was filled every day with families and friends visiting, during COVID family engagement has been phenomenal". Of all the places around the United States he has lived from California to Hawaii to Montana and Nevada, Jonathan is happy to call Grand Junction home. He enjoys exploring beautiful Colorado with his 3 year old son and camping.
Lorretta Bogle, RN
Center Nurse ExecutiveGrew up in Meeker Colorado with her five siblings and knew, even in high school, that nursing is what she wanted to do. On finishing high school she began working in nursing and it was at this time that she found that working with the geriatric population was where she was needed. Over the next 35 years, Lorretta would continue working in geriatric nursing, first as a CNA, an LPN, and then an RN where her love for geriatric nursing would continue to grow. On her down time Lorretta enjoys spending time with her children, grandchildren, and her beloved Chihuahuas. Lorretta believes her best reward in life is to see a geriatric resident go to a nursing facility and be able to rehabilitate and return back home. Whether a short term resident or a long term one, Lorretta is passionate about ensuring that every resident receives the best care possible.
Josiah Forkner
Director of Marketing and AdmissionsJosiah has been our Admissions Director for a year. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Masters degree in Professional Counseling from Evangel University. Josiah has worked in health care for 17 years and has been working with the geriatric community for over 10 years. One of his favorite things about Mesa Manor is the close partnership they have with the Grand Junction Veterans Administration. He is proud of the care given to several veterans living at the center. Originally from the Midwest, he moved from Illinois to Colorado about 15 years ago and loves living in Grand Junction. He is very dedicated to Mesa Manor and enjoys coaching his kids in youth football and baseball in his limited free time.
Kelsey Crim
Director of RehabilitationKelsey attended Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana just hours from her home town; there she majored in Exercise Science and graduated with honors. Despite enjoying the hospitality of the Midwest, she chose to move to Colorado for its beautiful mountains, hiking, fishing, and river rafting opportunities. She then went on to pursue her Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy at Colorado State University. Upon graduating, Kelsey moved to Grand Junction in order to work with the developmentally disabled population at Strive. Kelsey felt compelled to try working with the geriatric population for their amazing life stories and the potential to show progress and return home. Outside of striving to offer compassion and quality care as an Occupational Therapist, Kelsey enjoys spending time with her husband and son, river rafting in her inflatable kayak, and disc golfing.
Caring staff
My mother has been at Mesa Manor for 3 years, she just loves ALL of the staff, as they are very caring and makes sure all of her needs are met. They always keep me updated on her health and activities. They have kept family members updated weekly on the Covid and have done their very best at keeping all the residents and staff safe. I am very pleased and happy we chose them to take care of her. Thank You Mesa Manor!
