Lofland Park Center is a 110-bed skilled nursing facility located in Seaford, DE offering ShortStay, Rehabilitation and LongTerm Care services. Tawnya Dennis, Ed.D, NHA
Regional Executive DirectorTawnya received her Doctorate of Education in Organizational Leadership from Wilmington University. Her Master’s degree is from Johns Hopkins University where she also worked on brain imagining research for five years. Tawnya has been working in long-term care since 1994 and obtained her Administrator’s license in 2007. Tawnya is very active in the local Alzheimer’s Association where she helped to organize a Sussex County walk in Rehoboth in 1997 and has chaired or co-chaired the walk for at least 10 years. She is committed to improving the quality of life for individuals living in long-term care.

Jose Marte-Santana
Medical DirectorDr. Marte-Santana is a practicing post acute care physician with FirstDocs. In caring for a panel of patients, his areas of interest include geriatrics, advanced goals of care, chronic illness management, and hospital patient care. He attended Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM). After training for three years at Woodhull Medical Center in New York City, he transferred to Delaware and worked at Bayhealth Medical Center and Nanticoke Memorial Hospital.

Beverly Gray-Mears, RN
Director of NursingBeverly was born and raised in Seaford, Delaware. She graduated from Delaware Technical and Community College in 1985 and received her LPN. She continued her education and received her RN credentials in 1990. Beverly has been a CNA Instructor over the past four years and is also a CPR/First Aide Instructor. Beverly has worked for Genesis since 1998 and has been at Lofland Park Center since 2013. She enjoys spending time with her family and going to the beach.
Cindy Bowen
Admission DirectorCindy has been a healthcare admissions and marketing leader for 20 years working in senior living, home health care, and hospice care. She has built a career around connecting families, providers, and communities with the services they need. Known for her strategic approach and compassionate leadership, she excels at bringing strong referral partnerships and improving patients access and care transitions. As an admissions leader, Cindy drives census growth through innovation, collaboration, and relationship centered service. She leads with empathy and strategy strengthening referral relationships and ensuring every transition of care is handled with compassion and precision with the residents and families needs at the forefront of every encounter. She is also an active community advocate facilitating Alzheimer's Dementia and support groups and volunteering with the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women Campaign. the American Cancer Society and donating to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. When she is not working or volunteering, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, traveling to exciting places, attending country music festivals, and driving her yellow Jeep Wrangler named YoLo on the beach every chance she gets.

Tesha Horsey, COTA
Director of RehabilitationTesha received her Associates Degree as a Certified Occupational Assistant in 2004 from Delaware Technical and Community College. She has been at Lofland Park Center since 2004. She joined the Genesis Rehab Services team in 2008 and became the Director of Rehab in 2011. Tesha enjoys being part of the team.
