Lasell House is a 38-bed skilled nursing facility situated within Lasell Village, an active “living and learning” retirement community sponsored by Lasell College. We provide a full range of services in our highly regarded program of rehabilitation and nursing centered care. We feature short-term rehabilitation with an emphasis on joint replacement therapy. Dr. Geraldine Zabik
Medical DirectorDr. Zabik is a board-certified internist and has worked at Lasell for the last 20 years. She is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts medical school ,completed her residency in internal medicine with an additional year of chief residency at the University of Massachusetts/Memorial Hospital. She has a special interest in rehabilitation medicine providing Comprehensive personalized care For patients as they recover from acute hospitalizations and prepare to return to home. In her spare time, she enjoys time with her Husband, two children and long walks with her golden retriever Roxy and long walks with her golden retriever Roxy. In light of the potential harm the pandemic poses for nursing home residents in particular, Dr. Zabik is vigilant in ensuring the safety and health of Genesis Healthcare’s patients. Sara R. Block, MA CCC-SLP
Director of RehabilitationSara is a Speech Language Pathologist who graduated from University of Michigan-Ann Arbor in 2009. She is a native of Washington, DC and has worked for Genesis Rehab since 2016 when she relocated to Boston. Sara is passionate about providing professional, comprehensive, and patient-centered care. She has been at Lasell House since 2019. She and her team of physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists are committed to helping their patients reach their potential through education and training.
