Heartland Villa Center is a charming skilled care nursing and rehabilitation facility with the ability to serve 45 clients at a time. In addition to our skilled services, we offer outpatient rehabilitation services to our community and have a 24-unit apartment complex located on our campus. We are nestled near the Ohio River just east of Owensboro, KY. Our seven acre campus includes walking paths, a shaded park and play area. We are well known for our excellent care and our exceptional hospitality; we are a three time winner of the My Innerview Excellence in Action award and a recipient of the National Health Care Association's Bronze Commitment to Quality award.

Dana Ahmed
Center Executive DirectorDana was born and raised in Hancock County, and received her BSN from Western Kentucky University. She began her nursing career at Heartland Villa as a CNA and LPN. Once Dana received her BSN she moved to Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates to work for the Cleveland Clinic. Once Dana arrived back into the states, she again found herself working at Heartland Villa as PRN nursing staff. Dana was soon promoted to ADNS, and then as CNE. It is Dana’s honor and privilege to be back in her hometown and helping to provide excellent care and compassion to the residents and families of Heartland Villa.

Lyndsie Keller, RN
Center Nurse ExecutiveLyndsie started her career in long term care as a nursing assistant in 2007. Her passion for helping others led her to earn her degree as an LPN then as a RN shortly after. She then went on to work in various other roles in long term care before she transitioned to the Center Nurse Executive role. She strives to provide quality, patient centered care while at the same time improving the patient experience. She enjoys meeting with family members and residents alike to better understand the needs of everyone who calls Heartland Villa home.

Gabi Fleeman
Director of AdmissionsGabi is originally from the Louisville area and has recently moved to Owensboro KY. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Health Services with a minor in health administration from the University of Southern Indiana. Gabi is excited to step into the role of Director of Admission here at Heartland Villa and continue her career in healthcare.

Christopher Camp
Director of RehabilitationChristopher is a native of Salt Lake City, UT but has resided with his family in Kentucky for 20 years. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Bellarmine University and a Master of Music from the University of Louisville. In 2012, he transitioned to occupational therapy, completing his Master of Science degree at Spalding University in Louisville, and has worked in long term care, acute oncology, home health and pediatrics, both in Utah and Kentucky. Now residing in Owensboro, KY. It is a pleasure to serve in the role of Director of Rehab at Heartland Villa.
