Elaine Center Resident Receives "Golden Cane"

Elaine Center Resident, Veronica "Blondie" McQueston received the Town of Hadley's coveted "Golden Cane" Award for being the town's oldest living citizen. Blondie turned 100 years old earlier this year in April. She was born on April 16, 1918 on West Street in Hadley. On the morning of August 21st, 2018, surrounded by family, friends, patients, and staff, Blondie received an award from the Town of Hadley, as well as 2 pins symbolizing the historic "Golden Cane" that was passed down from the oldest living citizen to the next.
