Highly Recommend
I was admitted to Groton Regency on Tuesday, 29 Jan 19 and released Wednesday,13 Feb 19. The reason for this writing is to let you know that I was admitted due to a Back Fusion Surgery and I was pleasantly surprised of the care that I received at this facility. Normally you hear, read and/or see on tv the lack of care received at these type of facilities. I wished that I could single out one person for their exceptional service, but truthfully I can not. I'm talking about all of the employees that came in contact with me from the nurses, rehabilitation staff, CNA'S, Kitchen Personnel to the custodian's. I would recommend this facility to others.

After approx x 4 weeks participation in skilled OT and PT Maria was able to transfer with assistance contact guard, ambulate approx 50 ft. using a 2 wheel walker, she is independent for self feeding, grooming and upper body care and requires minimal assistance for lower body care. Pt made great gains and was able to discharge home on 08/28/20 to her husband with 24/7 supervision.
Wonderful team of caring professionals
Just wanted to reach out and thank you for having such a wonderful team take care of our Mom, Kathleen C. She was treated like she was the only patient in your facility. Jenn, her personal nurse (it seemed that way) was outstanding in her communication. Her care for mom and her follow up to any necessary needs that we all had. Life often goes with complaints and not enough compliments. We wanted you to know we were very satisfied with the care, given the extreme situations of what was needed at the time. We would highly recommend your facility in the future and hopefully we are on the mend with mom and moving her to the next level of needs for a healthy recovery and a renewed 2021! Be well, Crystal and Tracy “The world is a canvas, create your own COLORFUL reality!"
