Michael Lopes
Center Executive DirectorMichael Lopes has been with Greenwood Center since 2010 as the Center Executive Director with an additional 7 years in a long-term-care setting. Michael began his career by earning a Bachelor's of Science degree in Healthcare Management from Providence College. He chose healthcare as a profession because he enjoys taking care of our loved ones and making sure that they are all getting the high-quality-care that they deserve.

Dr. Kica
Medical DirectorI initially had the opportunity to work at the Greenwood Center a bit over two years ago. It was then that I first noticed the great care patients received. When the opportunity to become the Medical Director at the Greenwood Center presented itself, I did not hesitate to accept the position. My first thoughts on the center have been reaffirmed. Residents are treated with care, compassion and respect. The last 8 months have been rather difficult ones, at best. We've been faced with many challenges as well as heartbreak in the midst of the COVID Pandemic. Additionally there's been much confusion about the unknown. Guidance and reasoning have served to calm and carry the day. Working together we've managed to maintain our resolve to provide the best care to our residents.

Claire Costello, RN
Center Nurse ExecutiveClaire has extensive knowledge of LTC regulation and enjoys improving the quality of life of the population she serves. Prior to joining Greenwood, she served as a Director of Nurses for two area rehabilitation centers, as well as spending numerous years in the acute care setting. Claire received her Bachelors in Biology from UNC, Bachelors in Nursing from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, and Masters in Nursing from Walden University. Currently, Claire lives in Warwick with her husband and two daughters and looks forward to serving the Greenwood Community.

Alicia Marini
Director of AdmissionsAlicia has been serving in long-term care since 2010. Her role as the Director of Admissions allows her to continue to help residents within the facility, and provide help to our community. Nothing gives Alicia more joy than helping those around her.
Christine Buchanan

Respectful staff and good food
I recently had foot surgery and came to the Greenwood Center for short term rehab. The staff understood my needs. Everyone was prompt and treated me with respect. The food was good and the place was clean.
