It is much more homey and less institutional.
Good morning! I hope you had a lovely weekend! As you are aware, Rachel was brought in yesterday. My husband and his brother were so impressed with the facility yesterday. Immediately walking in Greenville has a different feel from her previous place. It is much more homey and less institutional. We were impressed with how the staff were so attentive to getting Rachel settled and making her feel comfortable. I just loved how every staff member introduced themselves and welcomed her to the facility and unit. Rachel couldn’t believe that she was able to sit outside and no code was needed to do that. She was using her walker yesterday and doing great! She asked for a wheel chair but she was doing so well that I don’t know if she will need one. And because she is closer to us now, one of her sisters was able to go visit last evening and commented on how jovial Rachel was. She hadn’t seen her in quite a while. We just cannot thank you enough for all of your hard work in coordinating her admission.

Always uplifting
Nicole, I know you have been in touch with my Brother Steve but I wanted to offer my personal thanks for everything you have done for Dad and my family. In addition to expertise and dedication, you possess the most important trait: compassion! You are a credit to Genesis and your profession. Please express our gratitude to the staff, especially Joyce who was always uplifting in her demeanor. Stay well!

Google 5 star review
The nurses and the therapist are taking really good care of my father. He says the meals are tasty. Although he’d rather be at home, he says this is the best place for rehab that he’s been too.
