Doctors Community Rehabilitation and Patient Care Center is a brand new state-of-the-art rehabilitation and patient care facility which opened in August 2015. A collaboration between Genesis HealthCare and Doctors Community Hospital, this modern facility replaces Magnolia Center previously located at 8200 Good Luck Road, Lanham, MD.

Kathleen Triggs
Center Executive DirectorKathy has worked in long-term care since 1984. She has worked as an Administrator since 1996, and prior to that as a Director of Nursing. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Management and an Associate's in Nursing. She has been with Genesis HealthCare since November 2000, and joined the Magnolia center in September 2008.

Dr. Sadia Baqai
Medical DirectorDr. Baqai is a board certified internist and geriatrician who completed her internal medicine residency training at St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton, NJ and geriatric fellowship training at Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA. She is currently Medical Director and attending physician at Doctors Community Rehabilitation and Patient Care Center in Latham, MD. When she is not practicing medicine, she enjoys cooking, traveling and spending time with her husband and two kids.

James Okode, RN
Center Nurse ExecutiveJames started his career with Genesis in 2002 as a Recreation Assistant. Shortly thereafter, he was promoted to Scheduling Manager while pursuing his nursing degree with the support of Genesis through the TAP program. After completion of my nursing program, James worked as a RN floor nurses/admission nurse then got promoted to Assistant Director Nursing Unit. After a few years of excellent service, James was accepted to the Director of Nursing in Training Program within Genesis. After completion of the program, James was promoted to Director of Nursing and accepted a role at Doctors Community Rehabilitation and Patient Care Center.

Donna Atkinson
Admissions DirectorDonna has worked for Genesis HealthCare since January of 1999. She worked in several departments, including: Dietary, Receptionist, Office Assistant, Asst. Office Manager and Medicaid Specialist, before becoming the Admission Director in June of 2008.
