Located in the historic town of Cambridge on the Maryland Eastern Shore, Chesapeake Woods is situated at the end of a tree lined residential street. The Center’s Transitional Care Unit offers clinical and rehabilitative care for those requiring a short stay. LongTerm Care is also offered and the Center has a secure Homestead Unit for those needing dementia care.

Rob Stofer
Sr. Center Executive DirectorOriginally from Ann Arbor, Michigan, Rob has been a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator since 2005 and has worked in Healthcare his entire career. Rob holds a B.S. from Salisbury University, lives in Delmar, MD, and has two sons, Cameron and Kaleb.

Amy Krieger
Center Nurse ExecutiveAmy started her career with Genesis Healthcare in 2005 as a GNA. She graduated from Chesapeake College in 2010 as a Registered Nurse and continued as a floor nurse. In 2016 Amy was promoted to Assistant Director of Nursing, overseeing the Transitional Care Unit. During this time she also completed her BSN. In 2020 she was promoted to Center Nurse Executive at Chesapeake Woods.

Amanda Catlin
Dementia Program ManagerAmanda Catlin was born and raised on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. She earned her BA from Salisbury University in Social Work in 2012, and her MSW from Salisbury University in 2014. Amanda began her career in health care working in a Primary Care Dr’s office in 2009. Once graduating Salisbury University, she served as the Director of Social Services from 2014 to 2020. Amanda has now transitioned into the role of Dementia Program Manager at Chesapeake Woods Center and has recently obtained her Certified Dementia Practitioner Certification. Amanda is dedicated to families and residents, and believes that education of dementia is an important part to a successful program.

Kynia Taylor
Director of RehabilitationKynia was born and raised on the Eastern Shore of Delaware. She earned her Associates Degree in Physical Therapy in 1998. She joined Genesis in July of 1998 and has enjoyed working at many of their communities along the way in various roles. Kynia's background varies from subacute rehab to outpatient aquatics. Kynia has been a Director for 15 years with Genesis. Kynia enjoys her job the most when a patient sets a goal and achieves their goal.
