Dr. Brian B. Kimmel
Medical DirectorI have had the pleasure and honor of being the Medical Director for Chapel Manor Nursing Center for over 20 Years. I am dual board certified in both Family Practice and Certified Medical Direction of Skilled and Long Term Nursing Care. I’ve been in Family Practice in Northeast Philadelphia since 1988. Most recently during the last 2 years I’ve been fortunate to serve as the current President of the Pennsylvania Medical Director Association. This is an organization that assists and educates in the leadership of Nursing Homes in our state of Pennsylvania. At Chapel Manor I’ve been an attending physician since 1991 and the Medical Director since 2000. For several years I’ve worked with our parent company Genesis Healthcare to provide quality professional services in the facility.

Director of RehabilitationI have been the Director of Rehabilitation at Chapel Manor since 2024. I have had the pleasure of working alongside an amazing therapy team that has compassion and is highly motivated to provide exceptional care to our residents in order to maximize their overall quality of life. We have had many patients come through our therapy gym- achieve their goals, excel and be able to return home with family. We strive to help as many patients as we can that come through Chapel Manor.

Admissions DirectorI had the pleasure of joining Genesis Chapel Manor in October of 2025 as the Admissions
Director. After 28 years of working in an Acute setting with Admissions background. I am
excited to have joined the Chape Manor team. It has been a pleasure meeting and relationship
building with the Residents/Families and employees at Chapel Manor as well as the Genesis
Team and all referral based providers. Being able to help rebuild the brand and mission of
Chapel Manor along with the other Directors and Leaders I am excited to see Chapel Manor
succeed and have a successful outcome in the “Great Resident Experience”.
