Welcome to Cedar Ridge Center, conveniently located off Interstate 77, just 15 minutes north of the capital city, Charleston, West Virginia. We have been a part of the community for 18 years. We provide skilled nursing and rehabilitative services for patients requiring post-hospital care, short-stay rehabilitation, and long-term residents. Our Clinical Care Teams are focused on implementing your personalized care program to facilitate your recovery and improve your well-being with a special focus on wounds and trach care. We pride ourselves on the most-tenured staff with 18 staff members who each have over 20 years of experience. Our residents enjoy free wi-fi, cable hook-up and telephones in every room, several church services each week, and various activities 7 days a week. Christina Starcher
AdministratorChristina has worked in health care since 2004, beginning her career initially with us as a Recreation Director. After receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, she worked as a Director of Marketing and Admissions and Nursing Scheduler prior to becoming a Licensed Administrator in 2016.She recently transitioned back to Cedar Ridge Center after serving as Miletree Center's Administrator, where she was awarded 2024 West Virginia Health Care Association Administrator of the Year! Christina enjoys leading her team with enthusiasm and compassion, and providing the highest quality of care to every resident.
Dr. John Neville
Medical DirectorDr. John Neville has served as the Medical Director for Cedar Ridge Center and Valley Center since 2013. He is a 1993 graduate from Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine and completed his Residency at Charleston Area Medical Center. Dr. Neville is also affiliated with Thomas Memorial Hospital. When he is not seeing resident’s in the Long Term Care facility, Dr. Neville is a primary care physician at Dunbar Medical Associates located in Hurricane and Dunbar, West Virginia.
Alexus Pauley
Admissions DirectorAlexus started at Valley Center in 2021 where she spent two years operating as the Director of Marketing and Admissions. She graduated from the University of Charleston in 2021 with an Associate in Arts in Nursing Degree. She began her healthcare career in 2015 as a Medical Assistant and has continued to pursue her career in the health care profession, working her way up with her growing knowledge and experience. She loves the ability to care for others and see the smile on our residents faces everyday. When she isn't adding new admissions to our growing family here at the center, she enjoys hanging out with her family and playing with her children.
Stephanie Stephens
Director of RehabStephanie has been a PTA for 15 years working in SNF outpatient and home health. She has 3 grown children and 2 grandchildren she loves spending time with. Stephanie resides in Parkersburg WV. She strives to help patients achieve their goals and focus on improving quality of life.
