Coronavirus UpdateView All Updates
Dear Family and Friends,
We understand the huge toll that separation has taken on our residents and families. We are excited to announce that our Genesis-affiliated Centers will now allow indoor visitation at all times and for all residents (regardless of vaccination status), with the exception of the three scenarios listed below. CMS, the federal agency that regulates nursing centers, has updated its visitation guidance due to high resident vaccination rates and a drop in COVID-19 cases around the country. read more

Terrific physical therapy
I was admitted to Catonsville Commons for wound care and physical therapy. As far as my wound care I have seen a lot of improvement. The physical therapy I received here is terrific! I can now go up and down the stairs and I can balance myself. Thank you Catonsville Commons, my stay here was very helpful to me.
My dad, who has dementia, is on the memory care unit. The programs and specialized caregiving approaches towards my dad ensures that he is happy and content. To me, this is priceless. I sleep well knowing that my dad is at Catonsville Commons.
This is my third time at Catonsville Commons. The therapists were all very thorough and thanks to them I was able to meet all my goals. The nursing staff was attentive to my needs.
A pleasant stay
I had worked as a contractor, doing paint jobs, plumbing and flooring. I was very active and loved what I was doing. I was home when I fell and I managed to get myself up. I tried to walk and noticed something was wrong I couldn’t walk right. I called my sister to let her know I just called a cab to go to the Hospital Emergency Room. I was admitted and they had fitted me for a boot on my left foot that I had fractured from the fall. After several days at the hospital, it was time for me to be discharged. I was given a list of rehab facilities to choose from. The facility that I chose had no beds available. Catonsville Commons had a bed available and I decided to take that bed. I was very pleased with Catonsville Commons! I was treated very well and the staff was very nice and very professional. Therapy was great! I am getting around pretty good with the assistance of my boot. My overall stay at Catonsville Commons was a pleasant one and I would recommend them highly.
My mom recently moved to Catonsville Commons from an Assisted Living Facility. I was concerned about the transition because she loved her previous facility. However, every time I visit she looks wonderful. The staff has engaged her and really made this transition very easy. Catonsville Commons is a really nice place with great staff who are dedicated to their residents. Thank you!!
Warm and loving
My wife has been at Catonsville Commons for almost a year. It was a tough decision to place her in a facility, but I am able to sleep easily at night because of the wonderful care she receives daily. They are so warm and loving. Both myself and my wife are treated like family.
A smile and a positive outcome
Mr. Fred P. was admitted to Catonsville Commons on 10/08/19. He was very weak when he first arrived. He could not use his hands nor could he stand. Now he can use his hands, feed himself and stand up (with some assistance). Thank you Catonsville Commons for helping my brother leave here today, 1/10/20 with a smile and a positive outcome. Thank you!
-Brother of patient
Therapy program is the best I have ever seen. The staff go out of their way to be accommodating. I would highly recommend Catonsville Commons.
In good hands
I have been in the healthcare field for 20 years caring for people on all levels which include Geriatrics, adolescents and recovering addicts. I have had a very rewarding career. I came to Catonsville Commons because I needed wound management. I was referred to Catonsville Commons by a very good friend and through recommendations from the hospital and doing my own research. I have had a very good experience here at Catonsville Commons, everyone was so nice and professional. What I liked about this center is the comradery amongst the staff and the way they made me feel like I was in good hands and didn’t have to worry about anything which is very important especially when you are in a strange place with different surroundings and rely on others to take care of you. I would definitely recommend Catonsville Commons to anyone needing services from a rehabilitation center.
Catonsville Commons has been so kind to my husband. He is a long term care resident . I think of them as family. I feel so blessed to have found such a wonderful place to take care of the man I love.
Caring and helpful
I brought my wife for a 5 day respite care and the staff is very caring and helpful. Facility is clean.
