Bedford Hills Center is a 147-bed skilled nursing center offering post-hospital, short-term rehabilitation as well as long-term care services. Heidi Forrence
AdministratorHeidi Forrence has been with Genesis Healthcare since 2008. She first started her career as a social service interim while receiving her BA from the University of NH. It was then she found her passion for caring for those in skilled nursing and rehab and long term care. Heidi then went on to be a social service assistant and director before having the opportunity to complete an administrator in training program. She then became a licensed nursing home administrator. Heidi is committed to providing a homelike environment and ensuring the highest quality of care is provided at Bedford Hills.

Dr. Samuel Goldman
Medical DirectorDr. Goldman has been the Medical Director of Bedford Hills Center for 15 years.
Dr. Goldman graduated from Emory University in Atlanta Georgia, and Nova Southeastern University – College of Osteopathic Medicine in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He completed his internship at Brookdale University Hospital & Medical Center, Internal Medicine in Brooklyn, NY. His residency was completed at Staten Island University Hospital – North, Internal Medicine, Staten Island, NY. His fellowship was completed at Staten Island University Hospital – North, Geriatric Medicine, Staten Island, NY. Dr. Goldman is double Board Certified with the American Board of Medicine in Internal and Geriatric Medicine.
Dr. Goldman works closely with our interdisciplinary team to deliver the finest care possible to our residents. He is committed to providing the best outcome possible for his patients. It is an honor to have Dr. Goldman on our team.

Britt Baer
Director of NursingBritt has lived in Northern and Southern Utah for the past 25 years. She and her partner Michael moved to Bedford to be closer to his family in Windham and Londonderry. Her son lives in Bend, Oregon and is getting his Masters at Boston College.
Britt attended college at Westminster College in SLC and her Masters at Loyola University New Orleans. She has a background in Neuro and Cardiac ICU, Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner, Professor of Nursing in both Associates and Bachelors Nurse Programs and Chief Nursing Officer of a Critical Access Hospital. Britt loves to volunteer at Best Friends Animal Shelter and have served on the board at the Emergency Nurses Association.
When she is not working , Britt loves to go hiking, paddle boarding, mountain biking and snorkeling.

Alexia Firman
Admissions DirectorAlexia started at Bedford Hills Center in August 2020 as an LNA. She then transitioned into the role of Unit Coordinator and shortly after, Admissions Director in May of 2022. Alexia enjoys making a positive impact on those she serves daily which makes working in health care a wonderful experience. When she is not working she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Jeanine Kuper
Director of RehabilitationJeanine Kuper is the newest team member to the Rehabilitation Department and the Director of rehabilitation. She earned her associate in science at Laguardia Community college in New York City. She furthered her education at Mercy College and completed her BS in Human Administration from Purdue University. Jeanine has worked as an occupational therapist assistant for 25 years and as a Director of Rehabilitation for the past 12 years. Jeanine has specialized training in sensory integration and dementia. She has worked closely with patients with Alzheimer's disease and patients that are visually impaired. She also worked in pediatrics for 16 years where she focused on sensory integration. Jeanine has worked at several Genesis facilities throughout New Hampshire over the past years.

Bryan Fischer
PhysiatristBryan has been a PA for over 7 years with experience in Urgent Care and Neurosurgery. He obtained a degree in Nutrition & Wellness and is very passionate about health, exercise, nutrition, and ones overall well-being. While at Bedford Hills Bryan will be working closely with the nursing and therapy team here to help support our patients progress in therapy to ensure a safe return home. Bryan is a US Army Infantry Veteran, and a NH native.
