Coronavirus Update
View All UpdatesVaccination is the critical third leg of the stool, along with personal protective equipment and testing, in stemming COVID-19 spread in nursing homes and protecting residents and healthcare workers. This is unquestionably the biggest vaccination effort ever undertaken. The vaccine will help protect both staff and the vulnerable patients and residents they care for and prevent further tragedies. We are very excited to enter what will hopefully be the last phase of this pandemic. read more

During that time she also worked as a Nursing Assistant and completed multiple internships and volunteer projects. She obtained her Ohio license as a Nursing Home Administrator in 1997. Caring and helpful staff
My husband's mom has been a resident at Bear Creek Center for almost a year now. The facility is rustic and has a nice big fire place she loves to enjoy. We have found the staff to be caring and helpful. She really struggled being there in the beginning due to her memory issues. In the last six months she seems content and happy. Her needs are being met and we know she is safe. She had been living alone and we were always very worried about her. The staff we have interacted with have been very positive and helpful, Stacy, Carie, Sharon and nurse Kathleen in particular. We are grateful she is cared for and safe!
Kindness and patience
Our mother, Bernice Trujillo (Ms. Bea) has been a resident at the Genesis facility in Morrison for 6 years now. Throughout those years we have visited her often, almost daily. Not being able to see here during this unprecedented time has been emotionally trying for us. One comfort we have is this: having spent so much time at your facility, visiting our mother, we have become well acquainted with the staff and we have confidence in the care she is receiving. For this we are grateful! We would like to especially acknowledge: Kay, director of nursing, who has been very accommodating and a model of compassion. Her staff on Wing One express their kindness and patience caring for our mother. Steve, your activity director, and his staff who make the Zoom visits enjoyable and possible. We appreciate their willingness to help us see our mom.
