Chief Transformation Officer

Nicole Kaufman is the Chief Transformation Officer at Genesis HealthCare, bringing over 20 years of experience in healthcare and senior housing. She began her career with Marriott Senior Living, where she established a hospitality-focused approach to operational excellence and care models. Nicole's expertise in organizational design, team building, cultural development, and adapting operational frameworks during industry shifts has proven effective in both mature and startup organizations, spanning for-profit and non-profit sectors. Her leadership in people operations, sales, strategic branding, clinical programming, and leadership development has consistently shaped business strategies, driving growth and sustained success.

Nicole serves on the boards of Dwyer Workforce Development and LTC 100, organizations dedicated to advancing the future of healthcare for seniors and supporting the workforce that cares for them. She is also a member of AHCA’s Customer Experience Committee for the 2024 term and is an Executive Leadership Coach, accredited by the International Coaching Federation, with certification from Rice University in Houston, Texas. Nicole holds a BS in Education with a focus on Communication Sciences and Disorders from The University of Georgia.
