Angela Compton, LNHA
AdministratorAngela began her career with Genesis in 2006 as a certified nursing assistant. She fell in love with caring for people and serving this population. As an industry veteran, Angela has 22 years of experience in health care and long term care. She continued to expand her skill set and professional experience by taking on roles of Recreation Director, Social Work, Director of Marketing and Admissions, and Assistant Administrator. She then transitioned to a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to better serve the patient population, residents, and community. Angela is a graduate of Liberty University, and enjoys traveling in her spare time. She is passionate about animals, loves to read and spend time with family and friends. Angela is excited to contribute her skills to the Abbotts Creek Community.
Yuthapong Sukkasem, MD
Medical DirectorYuthapong Sukkasem, MD is the Medical Director at Abbotts Creek Center. He was accepted to West Virginia University School of Medicine after his Junior undergraduate year in 1986. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Biology in 1987 and graduate from West Virginia University School of Medicine in May of 1990. He has been a Certified Medical Director by The American Board of Post-Acute and Long Term Care Medicine since 2002. He has maintained a private practice in Salisbury, NC since 1993 to present. Having additional hospital experience from 1993-2009. In his free time, he enjoys coaching youth soccer and men's tennis.
Ralph Pane, RN, BSN
Director of NursingRalph has worked at Abbotts Creek since March 2023. He has held several positions at Abbotts Creek which include Nurse Practice Educator, Infection Preventionist, and Assistant Director of Nursing. He has proven to be a compassionate leader and was promoted to Director of Nursing. Ralph has been in healthcare since 1985. He has served his communities as an Emergency Medical Services, Direct Care, and Mental Health Technician. Ralph graduated from Marywood University and obtained his RN, BSN in 2011. Ralph is dedicated to providing quality care to our residents and patients at Abbotts Creek. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing and spending time with his grandkids.
Alexia R. Cronise, PT, PMP, PMI-ACP
Director of RehabAlexia has been a Physical Therapist for over 20 years,16 of which have been spent in leadership roles. Originally from rural NYS, she received her Bachelors in Biology from SUNY Fredonia and her Physical Therapy degree from the University at Buffalo (Fun Fact!!: Buffalo is known as “the city of good neighbors” because you have to work together to dig out from all that snow)!
Alexia values lifelong learning and as such she has taken many continued education classes and training in both healthcare and business. She has experience working in many different settings including: Outpatient where she served as a Clinical Director and specialized in treating patients with Vestibular, Chronic Invisible Illness and Chronic Pain; Home Care where she worked as a Clinician, Educator, Preceptor, Director and Administrator; Hospital Acute Care and Acute Rehab; Subacute/SNF Rehab and Long Term Care, where she served as the Director of Rehab. Alexia is passionate about making a difference in the lives of the patients she serves and their caregivers. She pulls from all of her experience and the tools in her toolbox to provide a holistic approach to patient care.
Alexia lives in Kernersville with her husband, 2 children, and 4 dogs. She volunteers at the SPCA and on the Parent Advisory Board for TYDE Swim Team through the local YMCA Chapter. She enjoys volunteering and attending swim practices and swim meets with her daughter, who is a competitive swimmer, and her husband who is a TYDE Swim Team Coach. When not busy volunteering, she enjoys travel, reading, and spending time with close friends and family.
