Compassion and reassurance
When I decided to investigate respite care for my husband, I called several facilities.  Two of them gave me perfunctory information and nothing more.  However when I call Laurelton Village, I was extended warmth, time for all my questions and, most importantly, understanding my needs as the 24/7 caregiver and my husband's. When I picked up my husband he was very happy.  The staff said good-bye and made a point of saying thank you.  The deep level of positive emotional support, compassion and reassurance need to be commended on the highest order.

With Much Appreciation,

Healing and restful
Thank you for making a difficult situation not only bearable but pleasant.  Not only did you take care of us but most importantly you made sure our Dad got everything he wanted or needed.  That all helped make his stay healing and restful.  Your passion for your profession and helping people are your very best qualities.

With Thanks and So Much Gratitude,

So appreciated
It is sometimes easy to forget that there are nice people out there doing nice things for others.  Thanks for being such a special reminder, your kindness is so appreciated!  Thank you Michele (Activities Director) for the lovely cake you made to celebrate my Mom's birthday!

Kindness and concern commended
My Mom was at Laurelton for 20 days for rehabilitation. It was a very trying time for her and our family with Mom being in the hospital.  But my sister and I were very impressed by the kindness of the staff during her stay from the moment she came through the door.  Tommy was the admitting nurse who was very compassionate and kind and giving mom assurance that she will be okay.  Some of the other staff was Beverly, Carmen, Gloria, "Z", Cecilia, Beatrice, Elsie, Donna, Beth (physical therapy), Jill and Robin (Speech Therapy), and many more that were also we are very caring and compassionate.  My sister and I would also like to thank Bonnie who made the admission process especially with the hospital looking for immediate placement.  The staff's kindness and concern are to be commended.
