Screening for Congestive Heart Failure (CHF)

The purpose of screening is early diagnosis and treatment. Screening tests are usually administered to people without current symptoms, but who may be at high risk for certain diseases or conditions.

Screening Tests or Guidelines

There are no guidelines for screening for congestive heart failure in the absence of symptoms. If you have symptoms or risk factors for heart disease see your doctor.
