Kathleen Wise RN, LNHA
Administrator

Kathi comes to Genesis with over 25 years of Long-Term Care experience. She has held various positions within the nurisng field, including ADON and DON. She has been an Administrator for 7 years. Kathi's operational approach is leading by example to ensure that residents, staff and family members are treated with dignity and respect.

Christine Persad, RN
Director of Nursing

Christine is a graduate of Allegany College located in Cumberland, Maryland. She is a Certified Director of Nursing ; CDONA / LTC, and also  has a Certification in Infection Control for Non - Acute Settings. She has an extensive background in long-term care with several classes in Alzheimer's Disease and Management in long-term care. She is a member of NDONA / MaDONA. She has worked in several long-term care facilities and her role has varied from being a Charge Nurse to her current role as The Director of Nursing.  She joined Genesis in 2009 and is currently the Director of Nursing for the Waldorf Center. She and works with her staff to always increase overall resident and family satisfaction.

Jennifer Bunting
Director of Admissions/Marketing

Jennifer started working in the health care industry 14 years ago. Transitioned into eldercare in 2005 and enrolled in a BA program at University of Phoenix for Health Care Administration. During the course of her education, she fell in love with Marketing and the Administrator of her facility gave her an opportunity as the Director of Admissions and Marketing. Jennifer was soon recruited into the the Genesis Family and has found her home with the Waldorf Center.

Karen Zimmerman
Rehabilitation Program Director

Karen has been with Genesis since March 1998 as both a Rehabilitation Program Manager and Senior Rehabilitation Program Manager. Karen has a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Disorders from The Pennsylvania State Univiversity as well as a Master's Degree in Communication Disorders from University of Wisconsin-Madison.  She has over 20 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in skilled nursing settings.
