Dr. Jared Helms, DO
Medical Director

Dr. Helms graduated from an internal medicine residency and joined St. Luke’s in 2010 with a focus on geriatric care. Initially working as a hospitalist he recognized the need for intensive patient care involvement to extend past a hospitalization stay. In 2012 he embarked on a new journey, collaborating with Genesis Twin Falls Center, to address medical needs for patients transitioning from an acute hospital stay to subacute rehabilitation. Over the course of the past five years, this physician oversight has proven to optimize clinical outcomes and improve functional abilities for a faster return to independent living. The practice of medicine should focus on providing the best quality of life. Restoring health and vitality after hospitalizations. As the health care landscape is changing, Twin Falls Center continues to strengthen collaborative efforts with St. Luke’s physicians to optimize health and function across the spectrum of medical care in the Magic Valley and beyond.
