Peter Mongillo
Center Executive Director

Peter Mongillo has been working in the sub-acute and long-term care setting for 20 years.  He began his career in the food service arena and was the Food Service Director for 12 years at the Willows prior to earning his Administrators license through the UCONN School of Business Program. After serving as the Assistant Administrator at the Arden House in Hamden, CT for three years, he returned in 2012 to serve as the Administrator of the Willows.

Candace Quinn
Center Nurse Executive

Candace began her Genesis HealthCare career in April 2016 as Center Nurse Executive of The Willows. Candy graduated from Bridgeport Hospital School of Nursing and Sacred Heart University and has been a nurse for almost 30 years. Candy brings her extensive clinical skills from hospital settings, including but not limited to ICU nurse, homecare experience, and 10+ years in long term care. Candy has a love for adventure and her hobbies include running, reading, kayaking, and singing in her car!

Shanique Mightly
Admissions Director

Shanique has been a member of the Genesis family for 7 years. She began her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant in 2009 and has served as an Admissions Coordinator/Director in several buildings throughout Connecticut. Shanique earned her Bachelors of Arts Degree in Economics with a Minor in Business from the University of Connecticut and is currently completing her Graduate Certificate in Long-Term HealthCare Administration at the University of Connecticut. Shanique helps residents and their families find comfort and relief in transitioning to the nursing facility whether for short term rehabilitation or long term care.  Shanique embodies the principles of customer service in every day interactions with residents and their families. 

Michelle Ciccarelli
Director of Rehabilitation

Michelle received her degree in Occupational Therapy from Quinnipiac University.  She has worked in the sub-acute and long term care setting for over 18 years, serving as a Director of Rehabilitation for over 10 years.  Michelle’s passion is for the geriatric population and she strives to help each patient achieve their individual goals through quality rehabilitation programs.
